By accessing and using SkillBeacon ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you should not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SkillBeacon is currently in Public Alpha phase. This means the Service is under active development and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or undergo significant changes. Features may be added, modified, or removed without notice. Use of the Service during this phase is at your own risk.

SkillBeacon provides an AI-powered career development platform that includes:

  • Interactive Skill Graph: Visual exploration of skill relationships for different career roles (ML Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Security Engineer, AI PM)
  • Skill Connection Analysis: AI-powered analysis using embedding technology to discover how skills and responsibilities are interconnected

Data Storage and Security

All analytics data is stored in a secure, dedicated database separate from any personal information. We use this data solely to understand user behavior, improve our services, and provide better career development tools. Session data is maintained for 30 days for service functionality.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aeruno Labs, Inc. shall not be liable for any damages or losses related to career outcomes, including but not limited to: failure to obtain employment, job rejection, career stagnation, missed opportunities, educational decisions, or any employment-related consequences arising from use of our Service or reliance on our recommendations.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aeruno Labs, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Loss of data, use, or goodwill
  • Career setbacks or missed employment opportunities
  • Educational or professional development expenses
  • Time invested in career development activities
  • Reputational harm or professional consequences

This limitation applies whether the damages arise from contract, tort, negligence, or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

As this Service is intended exclusively for users within the United States, all aspects of these Terms and your use of the Service are governed by United States federal law and the laws of the State of Delaware, where Aeruno Labs, Inc. is incorporated.

Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved:

  • Option A (Default): exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
  • Option B (Alternative): by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in Delaware, and the arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

(Aeruno Labs may elect Option A or B at its discretion.)
